Digital certificates
Digital certificates are used when you open Web sites via an encrypted connection; the URL then starts with https:. That could be your bank's web server for online banking or an online shop. You most confidential data - such as credit card data, PINs and TANs - are transmitted here, so you should make sure that all certificates are valid and enable these options in Internet Explorer.
