Worth Reading: An Analysis of Conficker-C
Phillip Porras, Hassen Saidi and Vinod Yegneswaren of SRI International's Malware Threat Center have published a detailed analysis of the latest variant of the Conficker worm, Conficker-C. The paper, Conficker C Analysis examines in detail the new mechanisms Conficker uses to spread and survive and examines the Peer-to-Peer networking mechanism now built into the worm.
