SugarCRM 6 gets new user interface and cloud connection

SugarCRM Logo SugarCRM has completed version 6 of its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. The main improvements include a front end that the vendor says is more intuitive, although this remains reserved for paying customers – the open source version still has the old user interface. SugarCRM 6 is now reportedly also faster than the previous version.

Plug-ins for two cloud platforms – Microsoft's Windows Azure and Box.net – have been provided along with plug-ins for the iPad, iPhone, Android and Blackberry to allow employees to have remote access to the CRM system. The vendor's website provides an overview of the changes.
