OSBF introduces free cloud platform
The interoperability project group of the Open Source Business Foundation (OSBF) has presented a platform for secure cloud computing. Internet Service Bus (ISB) is a middleware solution for making various online applications available as services, within integrated web applications. Among ISB's components is a new Identity Network Service that allows secure, single sign-on, online authentication and authorisation.
A sample application jointly developed by 1&1, Corisecio, Microsoft, OpenXchange and Sopera integrates OpenXchange, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Virtual Earth into one web-based application via ISB. ISB is based on the open source Sopera SOA platform which integrates both Java and .NET applications as services.
