JavaFX plugs into Eclipse
Following the release, a week ago of JavaFX, Sun's platform for developing RIAs (Rich Internet Applications), a plug-in to allow developers to use the Eclipse IDE to create JavaFX applications has been released. JavaFX was released with integration with the NetBeans IDE, but many developers use Eclipse and wanted a way to develop JavaFX without changing IDE.
The early release of the plug-in is hosted on Sun's Project Kenai site. It can be downloaded from the projects web site and binary versions are available for Mac OS X and Windows. The plug-in is BSD licensed.
