JasperSoft integrates with R statistics

Revolution Analytics, a provider of software and support for the powerful and free R statistical system, and BI vendor JasperSoft, have developed an interface, RevoConnectR, which is able to integrate the results of R scripts into Jaspersoft.

RevoConnectR is a Java library interface between JasperReports Server and Revolution R Enterprise’s RevoDeployR. The latter consists of web services integrating security, APIs, scripts and libraries for R into a single server. With the interface, JasperReports software can retrieve R charts and result sets from RevoDeployR.

RevoConnectR is available to download, as is the source code, which is released under version 2.0 of the Apache licence.
